Cómo es esta camiseta

Es una Gildan 64000 Softstyle de algodón hilado en anillos, 150 gramos por metro cuadrado. Un punto más de cuerpo que la premium y un tacto algo menos fino, porque el hilo no va peinado: es la camiseta de todos los días, la que se lava cada semana sin pensar en ella. Corte unisex y recto, con cinta de hombro a hombro.

El dibujo va a una cara, en el pecho, impreso directo sobre el tejido con tintas al agua. No es un vinilo pegado encima: no se nota al pasar la mano, no cruje al doblarla y no tiene un borde por el que empiece a levantarse. A cambio la tinta vive dentro del algodón y envejece con él.

Del revés, a 30 °C, sin lejía y con la plancha nunca por encima del dibujo.

El desfiladero de noche: dos cordales encajados, los abetos trepando por la ladera, la luna en cuarto y, en la cresta, el castillo con una sola ventana encendida. Son montañas, que es lo que la palabra significa.

Where this drawing comes from

Una ventana encendida en la cresta y nada más. Todo lo que da miedo del primer capítulo de la novela de Stoker ocurre antes de llegar al castillo.

Una cresta de montaña y una sola ventana encendida arriba: en el pecho es un dibujo apaisado, bajo y ancho, con un único punto de luz que es lo que el ojo busca. Funciona en los colores oscuros mejor que en ninguno, porque la gracia del diseño es que esa ventana sea lo único claro que hay.

La novela de Bram Stoker (Archibald Constable & Co., 1897), capítulo I: el viaje de Jonathan Harker por el paso del Borgo, entre montañas cubiertas de bosque y con el castillo en ruinas recortado contra el cielo. Todo el cine de vampiros posterior sale de ese trayecto en diligencia.

¿Por qué no se ve el castillo entero?
Porque todo lo que da miedo del principio de la novela de Stoker pasa antes de llegar: el camino que sube, los lobos y una luz allá arriba. Una ventana encendida en la cresta cuenta ese trayecto; el edificio dibujado lo estropearía.
¿En qué se diferencia de la premium?
En el hilo y en el gramaje. Ésta es una Gildan 64000 de 150 g/m² con algodón hilado en anillos; la premium es una Bella + Canvas 3001 de 142 g/m² con algodón PEINADO, que es un paso más de acabado y da un tejido más fino y liso. Ésta tiene más cuerpo y cuesta nueve euros menos; aquélla cae mejor y se nota al tacto. Las dos llevan el mismo dibujo y se estampan igual.
¿Cómo talla?
Recta y unisex. Si dudas entre dos tallas y la quieres holgada, coge la mayor. La tabla de medidas de más abajo son las del fabricante, no una estimación nuestra.

Because they use more fabric and the factory charges us more. We would rather stock the large sizes and say so in the table than not have them. The regular sizes all cost the same.
