What this T-shirt is like

It is a Gildan 64000 Softstyle in ring-spun cotton, 150 gsm. A touch more body than the premium one and a slightly less fine hand, because the yarn is not combed: this is the everyday T-shirt, the one that goes in the wash every week without a second thought. Straight unisex cut, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping.

The drawing goes on one side only, on the chest, printed straight onto the fabric with water-based inks. It is not a vinyl stuck on top: you cannot feel it when you run your hand over it, it does not crackle when you fold it and it has no edge for it to start peeling from. In exchange the ink lives inside the cotton and ages with it.

Inside out, at 30 °C, no bleach, and never iron over the print.

A demon's seal: the outer ring scored with its marks, the inscribed triangle with a circle at each corner and, inside, the character made of a stem, crossbars with hooks and a scroll.

Where this drawing comes from

It is not a symbol invented for the drawing: the Ars Goetia carries seventy-two seals, one per demon, and they all share that same grammar of circle, triangle and strokes that end in a mark.

A seal is a circle with strokes inside it: on the chest it behaves like an emblem —centred and symmetrical— and not like an illustration. From a distance it reads as an old logo and up close the endings of each stroke appear, which is where the whole grammar of the engraving lives. Light on dark is where it separates best.

«Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis», first book —the «Ars Goetia»—, in manuscript copies from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, printed by Mathers and Crowley in London in 1904 with the plates of the seals. The grammar of the seal (circle, triangle, strokes ending in a circle, a hook or a cross) is the one on those plates, not a decorative invention.

Does the seal mean anything or is it made up?
The Ars Goetia carries seventy-two seals, one for each demon in its catalogue, and they all share the same grammar of circle, triangle and finished-off strokes. The drawing follows that grammar: it is not an invented symbol dressed up as ancient.
How is it different from the premium one?
In the yarn and in the weight. This one is a Gildan 64000 at 150 gsm with ring-spun cotton; the premium one is a Bella + Canvas 3001 at 142 gsm with COMBED cotton, which is one finishing step more and gives a finer, smoother fabric. This one has more body and costs nine euros less; that one drapes better and you can feel it. Both carry the same drawing and are printed the same way.
How does it run?
Straight cut and unisex. If you are torn between two sizes and want it loose, take the bigger one. The size chart further down is the manufacturer's, not an estimate of ours.
How long does it really take?
De 3 a 4 working days, printing and shipping included — the same lead time the rest of the site gives, because there is only one. The piece is made in the European Union, and that is where the lead time comes from. Above, over the button, you have the exact date for this one. The table below says where each size is made.
How much is shipping?
The page itself says so, above the button, before you pay and for whichever destination you pick in the dropdown. To Spain it is 4.29 €. The amount comes from the same rate the checkout charges, not from a separate list.
Why do some sizes cost more?
Because they use more fabric and the factory charges us more. We would rather stock the large sizes and say so in the table than not have them. The regular sizes all cost the same.
