Where the design comes from
El cuervo y el péndulo · Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) · 1827-1849. Poe escribió casi todo lo que hoy reconocemos como suyo entre 1839 y 1846, en revistas y cobrando a tanto la página. De ahí salen el cuervo sobre el busto de Palas, el péndulo con filo de navaja y las siete salas de colores que llevan siglo y medio reapareciendo en pantalla, de Roger Corman a Mike Flanagan y Miércoles. El flautista de Hamelín · Anónimo (leyenda medieval); fijada por los hermanos Grimm y Robert Browning · 1284 (suceso); 1440-1934 (documentos e ilustraciones). En 1284 desaparecieron 130 niños de una ciudad alemana, y la ciudad se pasó siglos anotándolo por escrito. De ahí salen el abrigo de dos colores, la flautilla, las ratas del Weser y el monte que se cierra. Y de ahí sale un puñado de películas que va de un mudo alemán de 1918 a un drama canadiense de 1997.
