Where the design comes from
The Tree, the Wolf and the Hammer · Snorri Sturluson (Edda prosaica) y poetas anónimos islandeses (Edda poética) · c. 1220-1270 (poemas anteriores, de transmisión oral). Todo lo que el cine llama «vikingo» sale de dos libros islandeses del siglo XIII, escritos ya en tiempo cristiano: la Edda de Snorri Sturluson y un manuscrito anónimo de 45 hojas.
