Where the design comes from
Extraordinary Voyages · Julio Verne (1828-1905), con Pierre-Jules Hetzel y sus ilustradores: Édouard Riou, Alphonse de Neuville, Jules Férat, Léon Benett y George Roux · 1863-1919. Entre 1863 y 1919, el editor Pierre-Jules Hetzel metió 4.216 grabados dentro de las novelas de Julio Verne. Ese es el archivo del que sale casi todo lo que el cine de aventuras entiende por máquina imposible: el submarino con ojos de buey, el globo con su red de cuerdas, la aeronave erizada de hélices.
