Where the design comes from

Alice in Wonderland · Lewis Carroll (texto) y John Tenniel (grabados) · 1865-1871. Todo lo que el cine llama «Alicia» sale de dos libros de un profesor de matemáticas de Oxford y de los 92 grabados que John Tenniel les puso encima. Carroll escribió las palabras, pero fue Tenniel quien decidió qué cara tenía el Sombrerero. Ninguna adaptación se ha librado de esa decisión desde 1903. Read the whole story.
