What this women's T-shirt is like

It is a Bella + Canvas 6400, the women's pattern from the same house as the unisex and with the same weight of 142 gsm. The fabric depends on the colour: in black, navy and white it is combed, ring-spun cotton; the anthracite is a heather and carries 52% cotton and 48% polyester, which is what gives it that speckled grey. What changes from the unisex is the cut: crew neck, narrower shoulder, side seam and a length meant to stop at the hip. It is a relaxed cut, not a fitted one; if you want it to hug, take one size down.

Read more about this camiseta de mujer

The print goes straight onto the garment with water-based inks, on pre-washed fabric, exactly as on the unisex one. What is not the same is the canvas: the cut is shorter and narrower, so the same drawing takes up proportionally more chest and reads bigger than it does on the unisex T-shirt of the same design.

Inside out, at 30 °C, no bleach, and keep the iron off the print. It runs from S to 2XL. It is a fine 142 gsm knit, so in white and in light colours count on it being slightly sheer. The measurements in the table below are those of this garment laid flat, not those of the unisex pattern: the other one's do not apply.

The drawing on «Reader, I married him»

An open book with the wedding ring laid on the right-hand page, on top of the lines that surround it. Reading and marrying, both things in the same drawing.

Where this drawing comes from

The ring sits on top of the text, covering lines. The sentence is said to the reader and not to the character: the novel has spent four hundred pages talking straight to you.

The shorter cut lifts the block of text towards the collarbone and makes the ring bigger, so here the sentence reads sooner: the circle stops being a smudge and turns into a ring over lines of text. It is the cut that makes you lean in the least.

Charlotte Brontë, «Jane Eyre. An Autobiography» (Smith, Elder & Co., 1847), chapter XXXVIII, which opens with «Reader, I married him». The novel speaks to the reader in the second person from the very first chapter, and that line is where the device closes.

Sizes: measurements, where each one is made and what it costs

Measurements of the garment, not of your body. Take one that fits you the way you like, lay it flat and measure: the width from seam to seam below the sleeve, and the length from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem. These are the ones the factory itself publishes, in centimetres.

Measurements in centimetres, where it is made and the price of each size
Size LargoAncho Made in Price
S 64,1 47 España 33.95 €
M 66 50,8 España 33.95 €
L 68 55,9 España 33.95 €
XL 69,8 61 España 33.95 €
2XL 71,8 66 España 35.95 €

Manufacturing tolerance: ±2 cm, as with any cotton garment.

Sizes 2XL cost more because they use more fabric and the factory charges us more for them: we would rather say so here and stock them than not have them. The regular sizes all cost the same.

«Made in» comes from the warehouse Printful declares for that exact size, not from an estimate of ours.

What you ask us before buying

Who is being spoken to?
To the reader, not to the character. The novel has spent four hundred pages talking straight to you, and in that line it says it to your face. That is why the ring sits on top of the text, covering lines: it comes in front of what you were reading.
Is it the same T-shirt as the unisex one?
The weight yes —142 gsm both of them—, the pattern no, and the fabric not in every colour either: the unisex one is 100% cotton in the four colours we sell, and here the anthracite is a heather with 48% polyester. This one is the Bella + Canvas 6400: crew neck, women's fit, narrower shoulder and hip length. Anyone after room usually prefers the unisex; anyone who does not want it hanging off the shoulder, this one.
Can I trust the size I take in the unisex?
Not quite: they are two different cuts and the measurements in the chart change. Lay flat a women's T-shirt you already own, measure it and compare it with the width column, which is where the difference between the two patterns shows most.
How long does it really take?
De 3 a 4 working days, printing and shipping included — the same lead time the rest of the site gives, because there is only one. The piece is made in the European Union, and that is where the lead time comes from. Above, over the button, you have the exact date for this one. The table below says where each size is made.
How much is shipping?
The page itself says so, above the button, before you pay and for whichever destination you pick in the dropdown. To Spain it is 4.29 €. The amount comes from the same rate the checkout charges, not from a separate list.
Why do some sizes cost more?
Because they use more fabric and the factory charges us more. We would rather stock the large sizes and say so in the table than not have them. The regular sizes all cost the same.
Can it be returned?
Yes. You have 14 days to withdraw without giving reasons — it is not a personalised product, so the right of withdrawal covers you — and 3 years of legal guarantee. If it arrives faulty or badly printed, we redo it or give you your money back. How it is made.
